A request to all family members and pals

Please leave comments! I live for your comments!

Ok, so that might be a bit of an exageration, but I really do enjoy comments and it lets me know that someone other than myself is looking at my blog from time to time. A very big thank you to those of you who do comment.

At any rate, not much is new here. I'm in the midst of planning a class that I'll be teaching next week for 7th and 8th graders in their fall vacation. We'll be covering a variety of topics, including Halloween, Harry Potter, celebrities, flirting and possible some American Civil Rights history. Wish me luck!

Other than that I'm just chuggin' along.

It's funny, I was thinking the same thing the other night when somebody I hadn't expected told me they read my blog all the time. I had no idea... there had been never a comment left. Are we that boring? Or are people scared?

At any rate, I need to send congrats to you, you are, by far, my best commenter.

If those are the kids you are dumping me for, they`d better be worth it!! Can`t wait to see you!

Remember - be nice but be firm. Single out the class bully. Tell everyone he's a woman. Then make lewd allusions in English that they will understand even at their level. You can't go wrong.

when in doubt, claire, discuss pigeons. they're internationally hated, and it'll be a good way for these kids to vent their otherwise pent-up adolescent frustrations! when you are finished dissing and ripping on pigeons with the students, you must then tell them, "YOU are all pigeons. and that won't change unless you get good marks and shower more often."

dude look who's raking up the comments! oohwee! you are totally effective at life! now how about world peace?! one thing at a time, I know. but I am SO impatient!
