Fabi's mom gave these to me. In German they call them "Steckzwiebeln", which I guess loosely translates to stick-em-in onions. Just stick em in the ground and wait. Maybe that's how you grow all onions. I dunno.

In the States, I believe they're called "onion sets", and yes, this is how they grow most onions! : <)
I grow mine under the sink.
